Get into your most comfortable painting clothes and roll up your sleeves!

First, push all the furniture of the room towards the centre and cover it with bed sheets. Before preparing the wall, the ceiling should be prepared and painted to avoid staining the wall once it is painted.

A fresh wall requires minimal preparation. Dust a fresh wall to ensure it is clean before you start painting.

A wall that is already painted requires to be prepared for a fresh coat of painting. Remove all flaking paint using a paint scraper. The wall should then be smoothed using sandpaper. All the dust from the wall should then be removed using a cloth as duster.Your wall is now ready to paint.
